Helloww there, So I am attempting to gather bedroom guitarists, shy musicians, anyone who composes and performs their own songs until we have enough people to start meeting periodically at Morning Glory Coffee House on Dawson to share our work, exchange feedback, and enjoy some of the best coffee/tea/baked goods in town. I myself am a self described bedroom guitarist/pianist/songwriter with a bit of a dilemma. My 40 hr/week job in healthcare is draining me, and I am having trouble scraping up the incentive to create new songs without people with whom I can share them. I haven't been to any open mics in town, and I've only lived here a couple of years. But I believe there is already some great original music coming out of this town. I would just like to give an extra push to people that are apprehensive about open mics at whatever-whatever tavern in the middle of the week, but would still like to share their work with like minded artists. I think this group would flourish with that type of musician in mind... the kind who is just sitting on 100 amazing songs, but have been reluctant about playing in public for people. Anyway...
