Looking to start Jamband with some crossover appeal.

I'm a veteran musician/singer/songwriter. I'm originally from MI where I performed in a band called "Grasshoppah". We played shows with Greensky Bluegrass and other notable acts. I moved to NC in 06 and played in "Zegg" who released 2 albums and performed with regional acts such as the Mantras and Big Something etc. Before that I cut my teeth playing in a variety of bands experimenting with everything from reggae-bluegrass-hip hop to hard rock. Thousands of gigs and touring etc. I am highly proficient on bass,guitar, vocals, and as a songwriter. I have written many songs that became popular with many separate fan bases. I am very proficient in the art of recording music and have some decent gear to help make that happen. Most importantly I can write great catchy songs with lyrics that could often stand alone as poetry. If you are hyper focused on image and following the herd... I am not your guy. I am hoping to find some high level players who don't need this band to feed their kids or pay the bills. That's what I have a job as a music teacher for. I just want to put together a solid lineup and have fun/see what happens. Even recording some tunes and making a few new friends sounds good to me...but anything is possible with great songs and solid cats! I'd like my role to be vocalist/guitar/Lyricist. I can play lead very well but Im cool to play rhythm or share leads. I am not a purist and love to blend styles or shift genres. I get bored staying in the same box. I'm not in a hurry. I haven't been in a band for years yet I will be very proactive. As for politics...Lets not talk about them. Im pretty moderate. Not a prude but defiantly not woke.
