Cat needs good home

Due to health, I am no longer able to care for Bernie, a domestic short hair Tabby cat, approximately 2 years old. Was originally picked up from a shelter, but I would rather not put him back into one. He needs a really good home, someone who can play with him often, and who preferably has other cats or dogs that he can play with. He'll be shy at first, but he's very much the 'fight' in the fight or flight mentality. He is very curious and very energetic. He is neutered, has all of his claws, and is very active and playful. He has a microchip and I can give the information for that. If able/wanting, I can also give a four foot tall cat tower, a couple cat toys, and a few cans of wet cat food, a remaining bag of dry cat food, and a litter box. The one thing I do not have and cannot provide is a carrying case for picking him up. I'm not asking for any compensation, just that you can be a good owner, and give him a better home than I am able to give him.
