Prog-metal guitarist in search of musicians

Hey everyone! I'm new to the Bellingham area, I'm a guitarist of almost 12 years and aspiring vocalist in search of other musicians to jam with. I would eventually love to make it a full time thing but I am busy with work most of the time and just want to get a feel for the area, I mostly just want to jam for fun for now until it becomes serious. I play mostly progressive metal/rock, but every now and then I get into death metal and soft rock/jazz-inspired music. My vocal style is (in my opinion) more along the lines of Opeth's clean singing and death metal vocals. My inspirations are bands like Opeth (both old and new eras), Rush, Led Zeppelin, Amon Amarth, In Flames (mostly older era), Hypocrisy, Iron Maiden, Arch Enemy, Death, Emperor, Dream Theater, etc. I could go on and on. I am looking for another guitarist, bassist, and drummer, and possibly a keyboardist. I am open to all different musical backgrounds as well. If you are a very talented vocalist and are interested in this, I'm open to it too! If we get to making original music, I would like a healthy balance of clean singing and death metal vocals, I don't want one vocal style over the other. I admit that I do want to do some covers of Opeth songs, so if you know any then that would be awesome! I'm sorry but I cannot travel past the Canadian border now. My preferred age group is between 20 and 35. I am 23.
