This is a UNIQUE opportunity for a motivated individual to learn how to make several dental appliances. Dr. Padolsky will personally train you to make Temporomandibular Disorder appliances and removable dental orthopedic appliances in our dental laboratory. Reading materials are extensive but much of this training is HANDS ON. You MUST be able to work with your hands and actually make things with fine motor control. Experience with painting, pottery, and/or model assembly would be helpful. Much of this job is working at a laboratory desk. Unlike most laboratory technician positions, this position also involves working in a clinical setting with patients. You must have excellent grooming and personal skills in addition to enjoying working with your hands. THIS IS A CAREER OPPORTUNITY We do some orthodontics and that experiences is available, especially making indirect orthodontic bonding appliances. You must enjoy people and have great communication skills. Dr. Padolsky is a perfectionist and is easy to work with if you also pay attention to the details because the details count.
