New York City NY

Description

A social construct is a notion constructed by one group with authority to describe another group with less or no authority. The perception of and interaction between groups is framed by a social construct. It gets ingrained in society's social norms and procedures, including legal, educational, economical, political, and interpersonal ties. Race is America's most important social construct. The socioeconomic standing of Blacks and Whites was purposefully formed by the founding Fathers. Whites were to be the only beneficiaries of the new country they built, with blacks serving as property.
