Super Cute Well-Behaved Border Collie 1.5yo

Description

We found Elvis as a puppy alongside the road outside of Durango. We moved from a ranch in Durango to a townhouse in Boulder last Spring. As much as we have made it work our new digs are not ideal for Elvis. He needs a yard or people who can wear him out or include him in their daily activities. He’s well-behaved and has been easy to train. What I’ve seen from him over the last year tells me he would be great at agility or herding. He can be off-leash with or without an e-collar. He loves to hike and can be obsessive about fetching the ball. He’s great with his family (including kids) but can be wary of strangers at first when on a leash. However, once he knows them he’s all love-bug. He is great at the park, daycare and boarding. He was good with cats as a puppy, but recently has shown a tendency to herd them. He really wants to love and please his people. It breaks out heart to consider finding him a new home, but he would be happier in a different environment. That said we must approve the people and the home. If we don’t find the right match we will keep him and make it work. If you are looking for a super cute loving fun friend or family member or a working dog on a ranch/farm please email us and tell us why you think Elvis would be a good fit. Thanks for reading.
