PDX Women Founders Meet Up PDX Indie Restaurants and Women Founders can benefit from a little community support. So we came up with an idea to combine the two under the collective power of Women Supporting Women (WSW). Gathering on a Wednesday of every month, we hope to bring business to a woman-owned restaurant and be in community with other founders on our lunch hour. This invitation is for business owners only. Thank you for your understanding. There's no set agenda. Eat good food, support women-owned businesses, connect with other owners, share stories, scheme up collaborations, whatever is needed I know we'll figure it out together. This month, Kate Williams of Kate's Ice Cream has offered to host us for an Ice Cream Social + Lunch at her new location in Portland’s Mississippi Neighborhood. You've probably seen her featured in the Oregonian and in just about every media outlet for her delicious Vegan and Gluten-Free Treats. Not only will you be able to buy as many scoops and pints as you'd like, but we have a few surprises planned. Kate and Lisa Nguyen from HeyDay are teaming up on a special dessert collab just for this event and we'll be bringing in a bento box lunch from Thuy Pham of Mama Đút. Everything will be vegan, gluten free, and delicious! Thanks to the amazing donors of our Treat a Boss GoFundMe campaign, we were able to crowdfund to treat each ticket holder to lunch and dessert. Please continue to share the campaign so we can treat more bosses next month. Space is limited. These will go fast. 1 ticket per customer. Ticket sales are nonrefundable and go toward ALIST, a Filipina-Woman Owned consultancy organizing the event. After the event, we'll share contact information with all who registered to make meeting up again even easier. April's meet up was such a success. Let's keep these connections going all year long!
