Marble Eyes(ft. members of Pink Talking Fish & Kung Fu) Escaper (ft. members of lespecial & Space Bacon) Saturday, May 21 Nectar's 8pm -- MARBLE EYESMarble Eyes is a soulful, energetic rock band based out of the New Hampshire Seacoast. This group has multiple lead singers and vocal harmonies in the same spirit as The Band and Traveling Wilburys. The feel good, larger than life sound has been dubbed by its fanbase as “Rock & Roll For The Soul”. Marble Eyes formed amidst the pandemic and features players from national touring acts such as Pink Talking Fish, Kung Fu, The Indobox and more. All four band members have contributed songs to the Marble Eyes repertoire. Each character is defined and, together, they have created something positive and exciting in the midst of one of the most challenging times of this century. ESCAPERThe literal definition of Escaper is "one who breaks free from confinement". The band strives for a sound without limits while keeping the dance grooves going. Escaper released their 3rd album on Ropeadope Records in June 2020 which was met with critical acclaim including being named a JamBase “Release Day Pick”. Named “On the Verge” by Relix Magazine (full page in print edition). The band has had sit-ins on stage with members of the Disco Biscuits, Brazilian Girls, Thievery Corporation, Rubblebucket, Cabinet, Turkuaz and more. They have also shared bills at venues such as Brooklyn Bowl and Irving Plaza with Jon Fishman (Phish), Karl Denson, Start Making Sense, Aqueous, Electric Beethoven, The DAB Sessions (ft. Aron Magner & Felix Pastorius). They have been seen at festivals such as Adirondack Independence Music Festival, Elements:Lakewood, DiscJam, Grateful Getdown, Rock n Roll Resort and Mazzstock. Featured on radio such as WEQX and WFOX.
