Due to inclement weather we have to reschedule the races. Please take a minute to tell us if you can or can not take part on the NEW event date: SUNDAY, MAY 15.Please confirm by end of day Thursday, May 5. If you CAN race on May 15 - please click Register and submit your info. There is no additional cost, just give us your name and dog name again so we can rebuild the guest list. If you CAN NOT race on May 15 - click here to tell us and let us know if you still wish to have your donation go to Rural Dog Rescue. THANK YOU for your understanding!THE DETAILS:Sunday, May 15, 2022 on District Pier at The Wharf.Check in begins at 1 pm, first race is at 2 pm.The Race is a 70 foot sprint on the official race track on District Pier.Dogs will race in heats of up to eight, culminating in a championship faceoff.First place gets a trophy and $100, second place get $75, third place gets $50.Dogs should be 15 pounds or less and no taller than 12 inches at the shoulder. We want it to be fun and fair for all.All dogs' vaccinations must be current.All dogs must be on a leash when not involved in a race; unruly dogs will be excused.The winning dog will be the first to run completely across the track finish line—tail included.Must be 21+ with valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages.Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If event is cancelled due to weather, entry fees will still be donated to charity.RELEASE:
