JobSource is looking for an Upholsterer in the city of Gardena. Shift-7:30am-4pm Pay-$17-$24 depending on experience The Upholsterer is responsible for the fabrication of custom furniture pieces made according to clients’ specifications. DUTIES: - Responsible for the production of high-quality, custom upholstered pieces (chairs, sofas, sectionals, beds, benches). - Use hand tools, power tools, glue, and/or staples to apply foam, webbing, padding, springs, cut fabric, and other materials to wooden frames in the assembly of hand- crafted furniture. - Read and understand work orders. - Carry and/or move (by pushing, on a dolly, or by carrying with the help of a coworker) wooden frames up to 50 yards across the shop floor to workstation, and assist with lifting pieces onto work bench.
