Sunrise Movement will be screening a series of mini documentaries about the Sunrise Gulf South March, followed by a Town hall discussion. Sunrise Movement and Citizens' Climate Lobby have joined forces to present a wondeful event at The Wild Detectives in Bishop Arts! We will be screening of a series of mini documentaries that cover the Sunrise Gulf South March followed by a Town Hall discussion led by members from the Sunrise Movement team. Coffee, beer and wine are available for purchase at The Wild Detectives, a go-to coffee shop, bookstore, and bar where intellectuals congregate to collaborate and connect. This event is the second of a four part series taking place each week in May, organized by Citizens' Climate Lobby DFW. The purpose of these events are to present information about climate activism in a fun and relaxed setting, where people can network and have a little fun! Come and enjoy the sunshine, grab a beer, and spend a little time on Sunday learning and connecting with other passionate thought leaders.
