Escondido Union School District is hosting a hiring fair for our Nutrition and Custodial positions. Escondido Union School District is hiring Nutrition Services Assistant I (NSA) and Custodians to fill a number of openings in our K- 8 schools. About the Job: NSAs work preparing and serving food in our school cafeterias during the lunch hours. Additionally, custodial help is needed to clean the kitchen and common eating areas after lunch. Positions can be combined to create a full-time (8-hour/ day) schedule. *Candidates must be able to successfully pass both Nutrition and Custodial assessments. Staff will be on hand during the event to assist candidates in completing the necessary screenings. EVENT SCHEDULE 8:30 am - Arrival/ Check-in 9:00 am - Application Completion 10:00 am - SD Food Handlers Class/ Exam (*required for NSA positions) 11:30 am - Skills Assessment (for Nutrition Candidates) 1:30 pm - Processing (Candidates successfully passing the application and skills assessment portions will be processed as substitutes pending permanent placement). Must bring a valid photo ID Bring a resume, complete with work history and references, to aid in filling out your application.
