NKY Restoration 2022 launches with an opening night reception with a keynote presentation by Bob Yapp. Join NKY Restoration for cocktails and hotdogs (please bring cash) at our opening night keynote reception with Bob Yapp. The preservation trades matter to us as a community. As Bob likes to say, "preservation doesn't cost-it pays." Our historic fabric gives our community it's character and anchors our future in the embedded stories of our past. Our buildings were mostly constructed by craftspeople with high quality and hand-made materials not found in today's construction. Bob's mission is saving traditional artisan trades through his Belvedere School for Hands-On Preservation and trainings across the country. The demand is there and the buildings need to be honored with skilled craftspeople maintaining and rehabilitating them. Doors open and reception begins at 5:30 pm. Keynote presentation begins at 6 pm. Please enter on the Lowell Street/Rt 9 side of Fedder's Construction to get to their event center.
