MEET YOGACULTURED_ INSTRUCTOR : SHANNON CARLIN Shannon Carlin is the founder of YogaCultured. She is a New York based Hot Yoga Enthusiast practicing since 2016 and creates a realistic approach of yoga for all levels. "In my yoga classes I stress deep breathing in-between poses and for the entirety of savasana (dead body pose-when your just laying on your back, still). I never realized how much I held my breathe until I was challenged to keep up with my breath in the hot yoga room. This type of breathing can be used in our day to day lives as well. When anxious, or even when doing any physical activity that makes us breathe heavy, we can relax by focusing our attention on our breath and slowing it down until we feel at ease again." You can schedule a private/group zoom yoga sessions via email [email protected]!
