I have two 7 year old parakeets, one male and one female, that I brought home from the pet store that I work at. The bonded pair was dropped off by an owner who didn’t want them anymore. They come from a really neglectful home and that’s why the female plucked her feathers out. Her feathers started to grow back once I brought them home and gave them a bigger cage with lots of toys and a good diet. I brought them home because I knew the pet store would separate the bonded pair and sell them separately. They love each other and must stay together. The two are very skittish and need a lot of time and love. I have so many birds right now and I work so much that I can’t give them enough time. I know with the right person they could become great little friends for someone. The two birds are very bonded and have been together for all 7 years of their lives and must stay together. They also need to go to someone with bird experience because the female bird has a plucking issue and needs someone who knows how to help. I will provide a cage if you need it. The parakeets are free because I just want them to find their perfect home. The cage I will ask $25 for because it is very new and hardly used. Please text if interested.
