Description
You won't breeze through instructions then to just have you exercise and call it boxing because you're wearing boxing gloves. There's boxing fitness cardio/fitness classes where the client comes in and leaves the class withouth knowing how to throw a proper punch with their boxing stance looking like a hot mess. In this class, its not about throwing punches at 50 miles per hour in combinations where you'll look like your'e trying to fight off a mob of wasps. You will be taught and taught well. Lets face it, not all of these trainers have no experience and are learning to copy cat to teach what they liked while the client look like lost souls. Sometimes, the're trainers who have experience but just want to get paid and let the hour pass by and on to the next. With me, you will focus and spend time on one instruction and we will repeat it all together at your pace not miner and build that muscle memory. Of course, with time and repition you will master the technique and the drill. Yes, no one is perfect and one will advanve faster than the other. I aways say, practice makes perfect and once its fluent to you, you can go and master the next. That being said, Boxing Skills and Fitness. Come learn the basics of boxing and gradually you will advance to your next level. Your mind has to tell your body what to do. So finally, 1Hr and 15 min group class. Ages 17 and older. You will warm up utilizing the jump rope which will be available to all. After our warm up we will take about 8 min or so to stretch to make sure that we aren't tight. Following that we will exercise, we might do a 5 - 6 min HIIT or a few exercies to get around muscles moving and toned. Last but not least we will finish with Boxing fundamentals such as, your boxing stance, the boxing shuffle, foot work, punches and how to punch ( with the proper form ), defense, punching in combination, shadowboxing, hitting mitts and partner drills. Non - contact but we will work on our reflexes. Everyone at their pace, we will all work together. We will finsih off with some quick cool down stretches and then hit the track for 3 laps. Please wear comforable running sneakers. Nothing heavy!!!! Let me know if you need gloves, i will have about 8 pairs so they're limited. You can go to amazon and purchase yoursleves a pair of 12 - 14 ounces. Hand wraps if you want to, 180 inches mexican style handwraps. Bring a mat if you have and water. If it rains, the class will be held the following day or during the week if its convenient. The class will start on time and you will have to just join where we're at when you get there thats if your are late. If you miss the class, you have the opportinity to make it up the following class. Looking forward to seeing you all that attend.
