Let's make history by preserving our history!
African-American cemeteries are sacred sites that provide important links to African-American history, cultural ties, and family connections. Rocky Hollow Cemetery in Georgetown, TX is one of those cemeteries and is in need of some tender care. This cemetery belongs to the family of our own Soror Chasity Hattley. On Saturday May 21, 9a - 1p, we will be rolling up our sleeves and clearing out the weeds and plastic flowers that clutter the area. In addition we will be honoring the black veterans who have been laid to rest at Rocky Hollow.
