Please join us for the first Garment Sewing Gathering! Meet makers in your area, share projects and gab about sewing while sharing a beer! Do you sew your own clothes or are you curious about getting into garment sewing? Want to connect other folks who share your love of creating with fabric and patterns? Interested in being in a room with people who won’t think it’s weird if you ask them what their shirt is made from? Want to opine on seam finishes or get into a deep conversation about neckline facings? This is the event for you! Come to the first (of what will hopefully be many!) Garment Sewing GatheringTuesday, May 24 from 6 to 8 pm Queen City Brewery 703 Pine Street in Burlington. It is #MeMadeMay so consider wearing your favorite self-made garment, or bringing a project you’re working on that you want to talk about or show off. We’ll be meeting in the front event space at Queen City Brewery, which is an accessible location with a ramp and parking in the back. Beers are available from Queen City’s bar, and food and other non-alcoholic beverages can be ordered from Pizza 44 next door.
