The Carey School seeks a qualified candidate to support the designated leadership with a variety of functions that contribute to the maintenance and safety of the facility. Reporting to the Director of Technology and Facilities. This is a 3 month seasonal summer position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of duties that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice) General labor, such as carrying, stacking, organizing materials used in and around the job site. Miscellaneous handyman work requiring the limited use of hand tools. Debris and trash removal not part of janitorial contract or scope of work. Minor repairs of furniture. Build office / classroom furniture. Maintenance painting or touch up painting. General cleaning in mechanical spaces. General cleaning of exterior entry spaces using vacuum, mop, broom, steam cleaner / high pressure sprayer, and other types of cleaning devices or equipment. Replacing lamps and cleaning light fixtures. Floor tile installation or replacement. Hanging framed objects not requiring the use of power tools other than cordless drill/drivers.
