We rescued her 5 months ago from SJ animal care center, and have been very pleased with her. However, our rental property is being sold so we were given notice to vacate. We are having difficulty finding a house that is pet friendly that’s affordable. All the rental property that allows dog are way over what we can afford. We have a big family and will not be able to reduce to an apartment. She is tall and is about 35-40 lbs. She is mixed with American pit-bull 44.8%, Doberman pincher 22.1%, German Shepard 15.7%, Dogue de Bordeaux 7%, and 10.4% supermutt. Out of the 5 months we had her I can count how many times she has barked using my fingers in one hand. She does not growl, and is not aggressive. She does have some skin problem (flaking) but can be taken care of with oatmeal shampoo. She is current with all her shots from SJ animal care center. She is spade and microchipped. We can change the microchip information to her new adopter. She loves her treats and loves to play. I take her running with my bike and she keeps up even when I max out. Just like any other dog, if she is not played with or engaged then she chews her tail… she is still a puppy after all. Very nice and friendly. She is good with other dogs (playful) and does great around humans. She does jump on people but does it out of excitement. She was able to learn sit and laydown without professional training. My 9-year-old daughter loves playing tug of war and semi fetch with her (she retrieves the ball or doll but does not bring it back lol). We would like for someone who is kind and is patient to adopt her. We will not be charging any rehoming fees or any cost. We will include her inside and outside crate, raised bed, food and drinking bowls, and the remainder of her food. There will be an interview process and possible home check. We do want to make sure she is going somewhere safe and dog friendly place. Serious inquiry only please.
