Looking for a backup or co-singer

Description

We're a trio that plays loud, fast, guitar-driven pop songs. We're happy with our songs but most are begging for more vocal harmonies. I wonder if you'd be up for trying to sit in for a few songs at an upcoming rehearsal to test this out - if it's a mutually good experience, let's keep going. This isn't a stand in the back role, it's front and center in the music, and would be on the stage too. Couple things we're looking for: * open to male or female or nonbinary voices * our singer sings in the baritone->tenor range, most of the harmonies are above his lines. can you hit an E over C5? * you can hold a tune, you listen. * we're not screaming, we're singing, but it's high-energy stuff. * try the harmonies we're imagining, then embellish * let's try 1:1 with our singer to learn a couple parts for 2 or 3 songs, then a rehearsal with the band * if it's good, let's try working toward a show * if it's really good, let's record together * if everyone is having fun with it and it sounds great, join the band and maybe take over more singing duties Couple things we're not looking for: * major rewriting of the songs * a second guitar player or keyboardist We rehearse at OMC in west oakland.
