The Digital Imaging Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation and maintenance of digital printing and duplication machines. We currently have a first, day shift from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and a second swing shift from 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs standard set-up and operation of black and white, and color digital printing machines. • Outputs high level of quality printed goods and acceptable level of speed and efficiency. • Releases files to correct equipment, manages incoming file and archives files. • Performs electronic file adjustments for correct production output. • Completes preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machines. • Updates maintenance records. • Selects samples and/or proofs for customer’s review or internal review, as requested. • May train fellow teammates on machines and processes as needed or requested. • Other duties as requested. Job Requirements: • One to two years related experience and/or accredited training. • Understanding of graphic art software applications and machine operations is helpful. • Strong verbal and written skills; ability to read, understand and accurately follow SOP’s. • Good mechanical aptitude. • Handles multiple projects simultaneously and uses self-management skills to plan, organize. • Good interpersonal skills to get along and work effectively with others.
