This is a fun, interactive class for teens and adolescents ages 14 - 19. Spots are limited. Please plan on attending all 6 weeks, (vacation etc are expected but please sign up for the dates you will be in attendance as food and all materials are provided free of charge).

Dating Workshop: Lessons are somewhat based on Terri Couwenhoven’s book: Boyfriends + Girlfriends- A Guide to Dating for People with Disabilities. Topics include: what is a crush, how to act if you have a crush, what if the crush is one-sided, the first date…how to ask, where to go, what to talk about, what to wear, the 5- love languages and why they are important in communicating with others, manners and hygiene in a dating relationship, behaviors to avoid in a relationship and dating violence, dealing with a break up and how to respectfully break-up with someone.
6 week/session program.
Group includes visuals, PowerPoint slides, handouts, interactive activities, group discussion, videos, and role play activities.
