The most protective tool we have is each other! One-day intensive to bolster peer support programs immediately. One-day intensive to learn core principles of peer support, to gain confidence in recognizing distress, connecting and resourcing to effective support resources. Content will include group exercises and practicing vignettes, don't be shy! 830-5, lunch is on your own with many local options. Space reserved first for new peer support members associated with local agencies or individuals living in SD county who work for out of county agency's (with your agency's approval). If space remains, we will open admission to current peer team members seeking additional education and practice- email interest to [email protected]. This is NOT a CISM or IAFF course. There is no certification available. If required First Alarm Wellness can provide confirmation of participation.
