Press release from the Colorado Springs Police Department: May 5, 2022 On April 28, 2022, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) became aware of allegations of criminal activity by a CSPD Officer. Detectives initiated an investigation and established probable cause for the arrest of Officer Stephanie Landreneau. On May 4, 2022, Detectives applied for and were granted the issuance of an arrest warrant for the following charge: 18-3-602, STALKING, CLASS FIVE FELONY (F5) On May 4, 2022, Stephanie Landreneau was arrested on the above charge and booked into the El Paso County Jail. At the time of her arrest, Landreneau was assigned as a patrol officer in the Sand Creek Division. She has been employed by CSPD since June 2016. In addition to the arrest, Landreneau has been placed on administrative leave.
