Press release from Nassau County Legislature: Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) collaborated with Home Depot and Community Relations Representative Mike Gallo to deliver more than 1,000 Kids Workshop kits to the young patients being treated at NYU Winthrop Hospital's Child Life Program, Cancer Center for Kids and Pediatric Center. The youth-geared care packages include a soccer game, recycling truck, American eagle and other creativity-stimulating items. "It was a pleasure partnering with the Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop Hospital. Wewere able to donate over 1,000 Kids' Workshop kits, giving the children an opportunity to enjoybuilding and painting a diverse range of projects," said Mike Gallo, Community RelationsRepresentative for Home Depot.
