Volunteer Registration Please follow these instructions if this registration is for a volunteer between the ages of 14 and 17. The registration should be completed by the volunteer's parent or legal guardianAll of the fields, with the exception of the Volunteer Name and Age, should be filled in with the volunteer's parent or legal guardian's information. Important Reminder Two items are required to volunteer at this event: This completed registrationUpdated Waiver and Release of LiabilityPlease do not show up at the event without a paper or digital copy of both these items. Waivers prior to 2022 are no longer validThe updated waiver is valid for this and all future SFA eventsOnly one waiver is required per Adult Volunteer or ParentWaivers for volunteers under 18 should be signed and submitted by parent or legal guardian.Volunteers must be 14 years or older at the time of the eventParticipation in any SFA Event is prohibited without a WaiverPlease use the same email address for the Waiver and the RegistrationUpon arriving at an SFA event, please do not queue up for check-in unless you have a paper or digital copy of this registration and your waiver. You can find the waiver here. What's required to Volunteer? This registration as well as an updated waiver. Registration for Volunteers between the ages of 14-17 should be submitted by the Parent or Guardian. Companies, Teams and Organizations should use Group Registration. What documentation should I bring to the event? Bring your ID, a copy of this Registration (ticket) and a copy of the Waiver. If you are under the age of 18, the Registration must show Parent/Guardian approval. What should I wear and bring? We're at the beach so wear and bring what you would normally wear and bring to the beach. Your bathing suit should be comfortable and appropriate to be worn around young children. We recommend a t-shirt or two, sandals or water shoes, U/V protection and a towel. Feel free to bring chairs and a cooler but Volunteers are not allowed to consume alcohol before or during the event. What should I do when I arrive at the event? You will go to the Volunteer Registration Tent to check in. Make sure to have a valid picture ID, a copy of this registration and the waiver. What time should I arrive? There is a mandatory volunteer meeting at 8:00 am but you may arrive earlier to help set up or assist resources in set up. How late does it last? We surf until 4:00 pm. You may stay later and help us break down. What if I don’t surf? You do not need to know how to surf to be able to volunteer. The majority of volunteers needed will be in the water assisting participants. Do I have to stay all day? We do ask that you make it a full day commitment. Will there be food? We will provide lunch and water all day. Bring anything additional you would like. Consuming alcohol before or during the event is strictly prohibited.
