Mercer County's Azalea Festival Postponed Due To Inclement Weather

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer County's popular Azalea Festival, which was expected to take place on Saturday, has now been moved to Sunday, due to rain in the forecast. Hamilton Township decided to move the Azalea Festival to Sunday, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. The Azalea Festival is making a comeback after a three-year-long hiatus. Township officials had to cancel the festival due to the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions placed on outdoor gatherings limits for the past two years. Held at the Sayen Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, on display will be Over 250,000 flowering blubs, including dogwood, azaleas and rhododendrons. There will also be tours of the Sayen House, crafters and vendors, food trucks, music and children's activities. The Sayen Botanical Gardens is located at 155 Hughes drive, Hamilton.
