Established Cover Band Seeking Bassist

We are CarTune Heroes, a female-fronted five-piece cover band including guitar, bass, drums, keys, sax, and vocals. We are seeking a new bassist who is a good fit for who we are and what we do. While we are well-known in the local bar/live music scene, we are also regularly booked for private functions, special events, formal galas, fundraisers, and weddings. Because we perform for so many different types of clients and at a diverse group of venues, we need someone who is like-minded and able to achieve those goals. This band is run in a well-organized, integrated manner, but there are no ego problems. We would like to keep it that way. We place a heavy emphasis on accurately replicating the songs we perform. We try our very best to bring the crowd back to the time represented by a particular song. This includes learning the tunes accurately, utilizing the correct sounds (all instruments), and specifically assigning and learning lead vocal and all harmony parts. We place a high value on professional musicianship. We put on an interactive, high-energy show for each and every performance. This is extremely important for us and is key to engaging the audience, our fans, and the venue patrons or event attendees. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We have three members that sing lead and harmony. Although not critical, adding a fourth member who can proficiently sing lead and/or harmony vocal parts is preferred. We are looking for a dynamic performer. Interaction with each other on the stage and with everyone who is enjoying our music and dancing is of the utmost importance. Because we want to be able to put on a true show every time we are on the stage, you must be able to transition from one song to the next without cumbersome delays or difficulty. Planned breaks are one thing, but dead air is the worst! CarTune Heroes truly operates as a team, and we actually all like each other!
