Hello, I am a 29 year old mama to a 4 year old boy. Before having my baby I attended CCSU and received my Bachelors degree in psychology and English. I then went about getting my CT head teacher certification (along with CPR/First Aid, Medical administration certification) and further went on to take a few Graduate level classes at Wesleyan in education. Throughout my 20’s I worked as a program director of a youth organization, the lead teacher of a preschool toddler program, an elementary school tutor, an enrichment teacher at an elementary school, before/after school program teacher/tutor, substitute teacher for all grade levels, and as a nanny. Recently I nannied long term for a family of 4 kids (two of whom were on the spectrum) for about 2 years. I watched them before/after school, holidays, snow days, and during the summer. I’ve also done short term nannying like watching a child once while their parents go on a date night. I live in a 3 bedroom house in Wallingford. My son of course has plenty of toys, so if you needed childcare where you wanted to drop your child(ren) off at my place that would work for me. I could provide them food and drinks or you could pack them lunch. But I’m also able to watch you child at your house. And pick them up/drop them off places. I have experience with all age groups and lots of special education experience so I’m open to watching any children and dealing with special situations.
