HOBOKEN, NJ — Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson spent a second day filming their new movie, "The Kill Room," in Hoboken on Friday, leaving the set at 4 p.m. to get dinner. The space inside Field Colony, an art gallery and coworkspace in Hoboken, was small enough that at one point, Thurman stepped outside for a wardrobe change. Trucks and a craft services tent had arrived Friday morning on Tenth Street, in a densely populated residential area. The day before, the cast and crew were seen on Hoboken's central waterfront, in considerably nicer weather. The movie has been described as both an action film and a comedy: "A hitman, his boss, an art dealer and a money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight avant-garde sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld." The film is directed by Lyndhurst native and comedienne Nicol Paone. "The Kill Room" is not the only production filming locally. An Apple TV+ series called "The Improbable Valentine," based on the book Changeling, was seen filming on Hoboken's Washington Street on Wednesday.
