LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
David Straney, 79, of La Grange, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Kensington Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle. Police responded to a crash. No injuries were reported. A resident in the 5100 block of Willow Springs Road told police Monday that $124 in cash from a parent's wallet was missing after a recent stay at the hospital. It happened over four days. A person in the 10 block of East Ogden Avenue told police Wednesday that someone attempted to open a credit card account in the person's name. The account was not opened. No loss was reported. Graffiti was scrawled on the brick pavers on the north side of a building in the 400 block of Bluff Avenue. The report was filed Thursday. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
