LAND O' LAKES, FL — A 37-year-old woman from Warrenville City, Illinois, was killed Wednesday night while crossing U.S. 41 in Land O' Lakes. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 9:15 p.m., a 17-year-old girl from Land O' Lakes was driving an SUV north on U.S. 41 near School Road and struck the Illinois woman who was crossing the highway. The woman was taken to the hospital where she later died.
