Description
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Portions of I-494 will close at 9 p.m. Friday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
Eastbound I-494 between Highway 5 in Bloomington and I-35E in Mendota Heights will be closed, MnDOT said.
Westbound I-494 between I-35E and Pilot Knob Road will also close during this time, MnDOT said.
The two portions of I-494 are expected to re-open at 5 a.m. on Monday, according to MnDOT.
Detours will include southbound Highway 77 and northbound I-35E, the department said.
This project is part of a larger resurfacing and bridge deck preservation on Highway 55, according to the department.
