WEYMOUTH, MA — First responders came out in force Monday night in support of health care workers at South Shore Hospital. Police, fire and emergency medical personnel from 23 area departments formed a parade of lights and sirens approaching the Weymouth hospital. The event was organized by the hospital's "hometown department" helped organize the display called "Light It Up." Several departments posted video and photos of their participation on social media on Tuesday with more salutes to the front line workers in the battle against the new coronavirus. "Not all superheroes wear capes, some wear scrubs."
