Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati: Wridz, a new rideshare service, is making its debut in Cincinnati today competing against national rivals Uber and Lyft. The new service allows drivers to keep 100 percent of their fares, booking fees, and tips for a $100 flat monthly driver fee. Dustin Peters, a rideshare driver, said that oftentimes riders have no idea that Uber takes 30 to 40 percent of the fare charged to riders. (FOX19)The Cincinnati Tourism Board has launched a new marketing initiative highlighting the city's rich culture and tradition. Julie Calvert, CEO of Visit Cincy, said the campaign is about bringing tourist dollars back into the community. Calvert added that the campaign features the city's sports, food, and art cultures. (WLWT Cincinnati)Gas prices jumped to $4.15 per gallon, a 30-cent spike, in Cincinnati despite the opening of reserves. Prices rose for the first time in a month largely due to the increase in demand and reduced world supply of crude oil, said GasBuddy.com. The opening of the Strategic Petroleum Reserves in March lowered prices to below $4, but the tightening of those supplies is negating the lower prices.
