It's with a sad sad heart that I write this. One of the founding members of our group "The Big Sky Band" is moving. This guy played rhythm guitar, bass, and could sing harmonies. What a catch. So it goes, though. He leaves in June and I (the founding member) would like to start auditioning a new member or two before his departure so that there's no interruption in our gigging. Originally we were a four-piece (myself: lead singer/lead guitar, a female singer and mandolin player with a powerhouse voice, a cajon player who's a master at auxiliary percussion, and a rhythm guitarist who also switches to bass on some songs and can harmonize( that's the guy who's leaving)). We play a repertoire of both covers (Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Hank Williams, Bo Diddley, etc.) and originals.
If you search up @thebigskyband on Facebook, it should take you to our page where there are some videos of our most recent gig. Give'm a watch and see if you dig our sound. If so, contact me!
Thanks, mother internet, and sleep well you big ole world!
