Sun's Eye Solar Power is looking for experienced solar installers with current Electrical Trainee cards. If you are not an experienced installer, we will consider hiring and training the right candidate to become part of our experienced team. Responsibilities -Install all solar related racking components on both roof mounted and ground mounted applications, including flashing and roof penetration -Work outside in all weather conditions on roofs, and tight spaces like attics and crawl spaces -Administer proper safety measures related to working at heights, including rooftops, and electrical work -Assist in mapping solar array layout, with adherence to designed layout of solar panels -Maintain job site and vehicle cleanliness and organization -Ability to develop thorough knowledge of the materials and processes used in the installation of solar equipment Minimum Qualifications -Experience or background in roofing, construction, or electrical work -Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions -Ability to work in all environments, including extreme heights such as rooftops, and confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces -Ability to safely work on roofs, use ladders, operate power tools, etc. -Commute to job sites in Washington state, primarily greater Tacoma area. -Basic computer and smart phone skills -Excellent attendance -Be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly -Valid WA driver’s license and clean record -Must pass a background check Desired Qualifications -Electrical apprenticeship or certified electrician -Roofing or solar installation experience Compensation -Hourly, $15.00-30.00 per hour DOE.
