We are immediately seeking reliable and energetic people to work as a food server in an upscale retirement home on First Hill. OFFERING A $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS! We have openings from 3pm-7pm. And we only ask you to work one Weekend day, Saturday or Sunday! The Culinary Services department is open 7 days per week and we are willing to work with you to create a schedule that is mutually beneficial. Your responsibilities include: Interacting with residents with courtesy, empathy and a cooperative attitude Taking meal/beverage orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner Assuring residents and guests are satisfied with their meals Keeping the environment safe and clean Following the kitchen and dining room cleaning schedule Maintaining all side stations and dining areas Following daily and weekly cleaning schedules Practicing all safety and loss prevention procedures Performing other duties as assigned Required qualifications for this position include: Current food handler’s permit or ability to obtain food handler’s permit prior to starting work Knowledge of food preparation and production Strong customer service focus and commitment to providing attentive service as a cooperative part of a team Set-up and clean the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards Must enjoy working with seniors Ability to respond promptly to resident needs Ability to work flexible hours as needed Per Washington State COVID-19 Mandate all public and private health care and long-term care workers, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 If you are friendly, engaged and looking for a great team, please apply.
