Forming a 1940s-50s Big Band

Hi. I'm Deanna and I'm originally from Indy (23 years) and am moving back from Portland, Oregon this summer. I'm an experienced gigging vocalist and band leader and want to meet jazz, swing, big band, rat pack lounge musicians for gigging in Indy. I've got a great list of fun capable sidemen and bandmates in Portland but almost no one in Indy. And that's where you come in. I realize finding enough people for full sections may be difficult so I'm also considering a "mini big band" and septet. Heck if I could gather together a great trio that would be an awesome start.
