Greensboro-Sign Installer Job Summary: The position of Installer is responsible for performing customer installations according to agreed-upon project timeline and costs. The position is responsible for working with both internal and external customers to ensure that all components of the customer’s installations occur on time and within budget. Essential Functions: 1. Perform customer installations according to plan: a. Read and interpret blueprints and art work b. Operate a boom truck, workout of baskets, lifts, scaffolding c. Climb ladders and perform work while on ladders d. Use and operate a wide variety of power tools, ranging from drills to jackhammers e. Perform electrode/arch welding f. Maintain awareness for installation issues and report to immediate supervisor g. Check product for completion and proper loading prior to leaving facility h. Perform quality checks to avoid rework on installations 2. Complete required documentation for each job site a. Complete Bill of Lading (BOL) before leaving facility b. Document job status by taking photographs and completing written documentation c. Abide by employment policies as established by principles 3. Participate in safety training and inspections a. Perform routine checks and maintenance on all company vehicles, equipment and tools b. Learn OSHA and state DOT requirements c. Attend safety meetings and training d. Maintain awareness of safety risks and bring to manager’s attention e. Abide by all safety regulations when in Allen facilities and when working at customer site 4. Follow the rules and regulations related to the safety of all employees working for the Company a. Adherence to all mandated safety procedures including: driving policy, production area safety requirements and fire safety b. Safety requires all employees to review materials provided by the Company related to any updates on safety procedures c.
