Experienced sound man looking for cover band

Sound man looking to hook up with a local cover band who own their own gear. You know who you are - the salesman who sold you a new digital PA system told you it was so simple a child could run it. But you can't find one that can. Or your drummer told you he could dial it in perfectly from the back of the stage with nought but drums crashing in his ears and now you are starting to seriously doubt him coz your friends are telling you that you sound - well - like someone took a poo in their ears. I'm looking to get away from the hired gun schlepping a big PA by hisself and I just want one working band with their own PA system who truly understands that you absolutely have to have a guy you can trust running the sound from the house. You sound better, you get more gigs. Simple as that. I've been mixing for the longest time, so no matter if you have a digital system from Behringer, Presonus or Allen and Heath I've got you covered. And if you still live in the analog realm, I'm sure I've used your board at some time in the last 40 years. And if you hire a sound company for your PA, instead of a different sound man turning up for every show, you get a dedicated "5th Beatle" as it were. I mix all your shows, I turn up for rehearsals so I know the songs as well as you do. I help haul gear in and out. 5th Beatle. Ideally you are a huge-ass rock-em sock-em horn band playing bluesy rock'n soul dance classics to moderns in central NH to Mass, but I'm happy with just about anything except a Willie Nelson style country/tribute band. As far as payment goes, it's up to you. You can pay me a flat 100 bucks a gig, which means you have to pay me when you do the inevitable free wedding for your sister's boyfriend's cousin's wedding come summer. Or you can pay me the same share of the loot as the band members. Which means if you don't make that much, then I won't make more than the band members do. And I do better when the band does better. And I do the unpaid weddings for bupkis right there with you. Thanks for reading!
