Description
Her name is George. She is 4 years old turning 5 in July. 14lbs. Loves humans. Very social with humans. Loves to lay on laps and purr and get her ears rubbed. Also gets along with my little 5lb poodle. Unfortunately does not tolerate other cats. We have two cats. My daughter has had her cat since she was 10 years old. I am trying to rehome my cat since she is the one that does not "appreciate" my daughter's cat. George will compete for food and attention if there is another cat. Hence her being on the plump side. When George was younger and slender she would chase my daughter's cat when she did not want her in certain areas. Now that she has gained weight and she no longer can "catch" the other cat she has reverted to urinating on the doorway area and in my daughter's room to mark it as hers since this is were my daughter's cat resides most of the time. The behaviour has stopped since we divided the house but this house division is not sustainable long term especially now that my daughter is going to college and I will be the one taking care of her cat 100%. George is currently not happy with this division and seclusion to just the den and living room and it shows. She has been to the vet recently and was given a clean bill of health. Current on all her vaccines. We are hoping to find her a home that she can call her own, with no other cats so she can be the Queen she wants to be. She would make a great family pet for older folks too. Since we want her to go to a good home, interested folks will be highly vetted. Small rehoming fee to insure well meaning cat lovers. We are willing to give a refund and take her back if it does not work because we are 100% sure she will be an instant hit and a lovely addition to any family wanting a cat furbaby.
