Sunset Valley Auto is seeking an EXPERIENCED Auto Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The Automotive Technician performs complex maintenance repairs and diagnostic issues. Must be experienced with inspecting and diagnosing the problem immediately and repair vehicles for potential problems. Hiring 2 candidates for this role Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25-$30 hr. Based upon experience Pay day: Every 2 weeks Schedule: • Day shift 8:00 am – 5:00 pm • Monday to Friday Essential Job Tasks: The tasks listed are a representation and not an all-inclusive list of essential job tasks for this position. • Inspects and diagnoses vehicles • Conducts road tests on vehicles • Maintains service records and prepares reports to input information into the fleet tracking system • Consults with supervisor on vehicular problems and performance • Performs preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment • Ensures shop safety and cleanliness and abides by safety policies; Identifies safety hazards and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor We are looking for: • A minimum of 2 years' automotive service, automotive mechanic, and engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity • ASE Certification preferred, but not required • Valid driver's license • Ability to operate and drive vehicle
