Description
We are a general contractor who works with several property management companies, and part of the work we receive from them are work orders. The work orders are to do general repairs inside and outside of the properties they manage. We are looking for an individual or a team, who wants to be their own boss(es), but not have to worry about finding the work out there. We can keep you busy full time with these work orders, and the other work we have going.
The individual or team would be 100% responsible for taking the work order information, scheduling with the tenants, as needed to review the project and assess what needs to be done. After the assessment, the system would be updated with the repairs that are necessary and an estimate of the cost to complete the repairs. Once approved, usually immediately, the repairs are to be scheduled and completed. A bill is submitted and you get paid!
This requires someone who has good organization skills, reliable transportation, tools of the trade and great customer service skills, to work with the tenants.
Some of the skills required to complete the work orders are, but not limited to:
- General Carpentry (Trim/Base, Fencing, Cabinetry, etc.)
- Flooring (repair/installation)
- General Plumbing (Fixture installation, etc.)
- General Electrical (Fixture installation, etc.)
- Paint (prep and paint)
- Drywall (repairs, installation, texture & finish, etc.)
- Tile (shower/tub surrounds and floor)
- Window re-glazing/new window installation
