Name: Lexi Lou Breed: Parrot Age: 9-10 years old Rehoming Fee: $300 OBO (for everything) Location: Colorado Springs Hello! Needing to re-home our parrot. We are just not the best fit for her. I got her a few years ago and it was just me and my daughter but then I got married and now we have 4 kids in one house including other animals and she has grown to be a bit aggressive with myself, my husband, and our kids. Her previous home was with an older woman that lived alone so I think all that we have going on is a bit much for her. She will step up on your hand but not without first acting like the dinosaur she thinks she is. If you say “step up” she will repeat it and the step on your finger. She does bite but usually not hard but like a nip. Any bird person knows that birds are not fully domesticated so this will happen but it can still improve with training. She also says “I’m a good bird” after she takes a bath. She will fly towards you if you are eating and try to steal food. She is the worst better and won’t stop until she gets a nibble. I would love for her to go to a crazy bird person who is knowledgeable on birds and can give her the time, love, and social interaction she needs. She is a little brat 🤪 but with the right love, time, and attention, she can be your loving little brat. 😉 she is good with other animals and in fact is not scared of anything, again thinks she’s a giant dinosaur. She flys freely but stays close to her cage and perch. She comes with everything you see in the picture.
