Guitarist/vocalist looking to play in a band that covers, writes, records, and actually plays somewhere besides a basement. I’m 35 (boo!) and I’ve been playing 20+ years (yay!), classically trained (boo!), so I go chug-chug *and* meedley-meedley-me (yay!), have a day job (boo!) but that just means I can afford good gear, reliable transportation, *and* beer (yay!), so all and all, I can work with you if we click. Influences on guitar vary: Dimebag, Van Halen, Alexi Laiho, George Lynch, Devin Townsend, the list goes on. My voice? Imagine if Trent Reznor if his balls dropped or maybe if Pete Steele’s partially crawled back up - I’m somewhere in that range. The screamy parts I can do but I prefer to do clean vocals nowadays. Influences on vocals include Rammstein, NIN, Type O Negative, Dope, Ministry, Motionless in White, etc. What do I play? What do you want? You want flashy with solos? Done. You want gothy? Done. You want something with lots of keyboards? Done. Wanna do covers most of the time? Done. You want something else? Talk to me. You want to do nothing but rewrite everything every week and never play out? Been there, done that, the t-shirt was lame. Clean living save the occasional beer.
