LAKELAND, FL — All lanes of State Road 33 are closed near the Interstate 4 overpass because of an early Friday morning crash that involved two semis, the Lakeland Police Department said. Northbound and southbound lanes will be closed for at least several hours as crews work to clean up the roadway, police say. One driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Officials ask that motorists avoid this area. No other information has been released by the Lakeland Police Department about what caused the crash. Patch will keep you updated on the story.
