POLK COUNTY, FL — Two flipped-over trailers caused traffic delays on Friday morning for Polk County drivers on Interstate 4 near State Road 570, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The trailer combination that was pulled by a truck began to fishtail at 11:26 a.m., deputies said. The fishtailing caused the truck and trailers to drive off to the outside shoulder just before the vehicles flipped, blocking lanes and causing the entire westbound lanes of I-4 to close, authorities said. A truck and the two trailers it pulled flipped over on I-4 after fishtailing on Friday morning, authorities said. (FHP) Delays were massive during the road closure, law enforcement officials said. The driver, who is a 51-year-old Dover resident, and his 41-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries, according to investigators.
